Magnesium alloy is an alloy material composed of magnesium and other elements, characterized by low density, high strength, high elastic modulus, good heat dissipation and shock absorption. But magnesium is a metal with strong electrochemical activity. In cutting processing, if the magnesium alloy cutting fluid used is not appropriate, it is easy to cause corrosion, producing magnesium soap, and have a short service life. Therefore, it is particularly important to choose a suitable magnesium alloy cutting fluid during processing.


Korniche SCF 800 PLUS Magnesium Alloy Cutting Fluid

Korniche SCF 800 PLUS is a semi-synthetic cutting fluid designed specifically for magnesium alloy processing. The latest technology formula is used to inhibit hydrogen evolution during the processing. The product still has good processing performance and emulsification stability in high magnesium salt content environments.  At the same time, the product has superior cooling and de-foaming properties, and can withstand high-speed flow injection. Special additive formula provides extreme pressure lubrication protection for cutting tools

 

The Korniche SCF 800 PLUS is particularly suitable for magnesium alloy processing, and also performs stably in environments with magnesium salt content up to 7500PPM. The product can also be used to process non-ferrous metals such as aluminium alloys and copper alloys.

Korniche SCF 830 PLUS is an emulsified cutting fluid specially designed for the processing of magnesium and aluminium alloys. It is widely used in the processing of magnesium and aluminium alloy parts in aerospace, electronics, and automotive industries. It can effectively solve problems such as unstable diluent, easy odour, hydrogen generation, and spot corrosion during the processing.
